Fresh Polyethylene Price Increases Issued December 16, 2020
Several major Polyethylene producers nominated new price increases for January. In their letters, producers expressed their intent to fully implement the current $.05/lb increase on December contracts and will seek to add as much as $.05/lb more in January. US Polyethylene contracts have already risen $.19/lb since bottoming out in May, the Dec nickel would bring the tally to $.24/lb during 2020.
